When we can reconnect with the deepest part of our being, we can find a great fountain of joy and nourishment for our bodies, our minds and our spirits. It gives us a chance to refresh and recharge and return to our daily lives with a renewed sense of calmness and clarity. This retreat will offer classes in meditation, gentle yoga and an introduction to mindfulnessbased massage, with clothing on, perfect for deepening the connection to one’s body and senses.

Faculty

Emily Bullard is a certified fitness trainer through the National Personal Training Institute and has been practicing yoga for nine years. In 2010 she obtained her clinical nutrition certification from the Natural Healing Institute, and began working with people privately, helping them to improve the balance in their lives and achieve a healthier lifestyle. Certified with the Yoga Alliance in 2015 and soonafter as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor in 2016, Emily recently visited the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas where she immersed herself completely in the yogic lifestyle. For Emily, yoga is not just a practice, but a rich and fulfilling lifestyle.

ShariShari Sunshine has a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from World Medicine Institute, Honolulu, HI, and is a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist. She has taught Mindful Movements and Healing Qi Gung for three decades. She is the founder of Syntropy Insight Bodywork, an awareness-based healing art.

 

Rosalyn White has studied meditation and Tibetan art under the guidance of the Tibetan Buddhist teacher, Tarthang Tulku, for over forty years. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the California College of Art and a teaching credential from UC Berkeley. She is currently Co-Director of Ratna Ling and has been teaching classes in meditation and sacred art for over 25 years. The depth and breadth of the Tibetan teachings have had a profound influence on her life, and inspired her to share her knowledge in order to help others to find the beauty and purpose in their lives. Her goal is that in your time with her you will get in touch with a stiller, deeper part of yourself and a gain sense of health and balance.

Price does not include tax. Includes lodging for two nights in a deluxe two room cottage, 5 bountiful vegetarian meals, served buffet style. We are able to accommodate most food allergies and/or dietary restrictions. The retreat includes five classes: two yoga, one meditation and two massage classes. Our property and the surrounding areas feature beautiful nature trails, popular bike routes and meditation gardens.
