The Apollo Academy for Health and Humanism (AAHH) is conducting a very unique retreat that combines the world-class yoga, meditation and health promotion features of the Ratna Ling Retreat Center with a chamber music festival and workshop featuring the celebrated Alexander String Quartet and renowned musical historian, composer and pianist Robert Greenberg.
The quartet and Robert Greenberg will be joined by a distinguished faculty of artists, educators and health care professionals in this extended weekend workshop, festival and retreat.
This retreat will allow participants to enjoy the popular Greenberg/Alexander String Quartet lecture performances in the intimate and beautiful setting of the Ratna Ling Retreat Center. Complimenting this series of lecture performances is an extensive program of workshops and small group sessions on chamber music performance, poetry writing, the natural environment, cooking and nutrition, and optimizing health and wellness.
- Charles Rosen, “The Classical Style: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven.”
- Robert Greenberg, “How to Listen to Great Music: A Guide to its History, Culture and Heart”
