Course Description/Objectives:

  1. Discuss the roots of burnout and compassion fatigue and how to prevent both.
  2. Practice 3 important elements for developing a healthy therapeutic relationship with your patients.
  3. Identify tools for professional sustainability and personal well-being.
  4. Create a sustainable self-care plan to fit into your busy schedule.

Target Audience: Rehab Professionals concerned about burn-out or compassion fatigue (PT, OT, MD)

Course Level: Intermediate (2 or more years of clinical practice)

Ratio: minimum =12:2 to maximum = 26:2
