As the bright joy of spring arrives, the Ratna Ling landscape awakens with the beauty and promise of renewal. The blossoms on the trees, the greening meadows, and the gentle lengthening of days remind us that life is ever-changing yet always perfect in its unfolding. There are phases, stages, and seasons in a complete and whole process. In this season of budding and awakening, we are invited to notice the joy present in each moment—a joy not bound by circumstance, but arising naturally when we are present to the moment.

Spring teaches us that completeness is not something to be achieved, but something to be remembered. Just as a flower does not strive to bloom, but simply responds to the warmth and light around it, we too can soften into the completeness of our being. In the stillness of meditation, in the rhythm of mindful walking, and in the simple act of breathing, we reconnect with the wholeness that has always been within us. When we let go of predetermined ideas or stuck feelings, joy can blossom from this place of openness–quiet, full, and free.

We welcome you to join us this season in embracing the teachings of spring. When you come to Ratna Ling, meander through the flowering paths and feel supported by the land and the intentions that fuel this place. Together, we can explore joy not as a fleeting feeling, but as the very nature of our being.

With good wishes,
Linda Copenhagen and the volunteer staff of Ratna Ling
