MORNING DEVOTIONS
Together and individually, we start our mornings with japa meditation, silent or soft chanting of mantra repetitions with the use of a rosary (mala). This practice allows the mind to ground into a transcendental sound vibration that can bring peace and flow. We then move into invocation songs that call on our teachers and allow us to give thanks for our path and our life.
THE BHAKTI PATH
This session will explore the meaning of bhakti and the lifestyle and practices of a bhakti yogi. Why do we chant, sing, and dance? Who is Krishna? Why eat vegetarian? What are the benefits of these practices?
SONGS ON HARMONIUM
Learn to sing a song while playing the harmonium! Basic chords and keyboard playing will be taught.
INTRO TO KARTALS & MRDANGA
Learn basic rhythm techniques on hand cymbals and drums–while singing!
YOGA
These yoga classes are designed for all levels, incorporating breathing, stretching, and fluid movements. The postures and techniques help to stabilize and calm the nervous system, strengthen muscles, and tone the organs, bringing more ease and circulation throughout the body. You can expect to feel more relaxed, aware, and stronger from this yoga practice.
LILA & KIRTAN
A standard satsang (spiritual gathering) in which we hear the pastimes of Krishna and other deities and sing the names of the Divine. Here we can transcend time and space and touch into a place of magic, wonder, and bliss.

Taking inspiration from the motivational messages of alternative music, he went on to deeply study asana, meditation, kirtan and bhakti yoga for years at ashrams all over India and America. In the spirit of wanting to give back what he had learned,…
