Courage of the Heart: A Yoga, Meditation & Mantra Retreat

We welcome returning guest teachers Loren Altura and Kat Shotz of Marin for this special retreat on Courage.
Courage might mean strength or fearlessness to you. The root word of courage is “cour”, which means heart. Courage might then refer to having the willingness and strength to love others and to open our hearts. What do love and courage look like? How can we build our capacity for patience and compassion? We will explore all this and more with Loren and Kat, focusing on courage and self-love as a path toward healing. This retreat includes daily yoga, meditation, chanting, dharma and self-expression practices.

With over 1900 hours of training hours, Loren has been teaching yoga for over a decade and practicing for over two decades. Teaching a blend of the “ha” (sun) and “tha” (moon) practices, Loren teaches an alignment based yoga practice which often includes pranayama techniques, mantra, music and yoga philosophy.
