Therapeutic Yoga, Breath, and Sound Immersion Retreat

With Harvey Deutch, Jill Lindsay and Teresa Van Eyk

Gather with us for a weekend retreat intended to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. Practice therapeutic yoga, breathwork, chanting, and sound bath in the beautiful sacred space of Ratna Ling Retreat Center.

Your retreat will be led by three highly trained and experienced teachers. Each of whom is deeply dedicated to the practice of yoga and seva, selfless service.

Come be immersed in the wisdom of yoga. Experience accessible, skillful and meaningful yoga sessions daily.  Meals and accommodations are also included. You will feel the care and compassion of this joyful collaboration and leave feeling nourished, refreshed and awakened just in time for spring!

Your Facilitators:

Harvey Deutch

Acclaimed physical therapist, yogi, and beloved teacher, Harvey Deutch, P.T. has been merging the art and science of yoga and physical therapy for over 42 years, exploring and perfecting the the nuances of each. His laser-sharp precision and keen eye for working with the physical form join his innate ability to understand and finesse the energetic body.

Along with his signature humor, Harvey is well-known for taking two-dimensional anatomy off the page and making it burst alive on the mat.

Prior to 2020 Harvey was living in San Francisco and he is excited to return to Ratna long and to reconnect with the community here.

 

Jill White Lindsay

Jill’s focus in her classes is to cultivate a healing environment and empower students to become more connected with their bodies and minds from a kind, compassionate, and humorous perspective. After receiving her 200-hour training from the White Lotus foundation in Santa Barbara with Ganga White and Tracy Rich, Jill expanded her discipline to teach therapeutic yoga.  Her teaching style is informed by Harvey Deutch and received both her 100 and 50 hour advanced training under his mentorship and still works with him on various retreats and advanced trainings.  After over 1,000 hours of training, Jill became a Certified Yoga Therapist through the Stress Management Center in Marin.

 

Teresa Van Eyk

Teresa Van Eyk is a yoga teacher, healing sound artist, and the owner of Satya Yoga and in Saugatuck, Michigan. She is an experienced and registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level. Teresa received her training and certifications under Karina Mirsky at the Sangha Yoga Institute. Teresa is also the founder and lead trainer of Satya Yoga’s 200 hour teacher training program. Her classes are inclusive and adaptive, intelligently and safely sequenced, and infused with yoga philosophy, Bhakti yoga, and healing sound. She continues her education in anatomy and functional movement under Harvey Deutch and considers herself a lifelong student of yoga.

Jill Lindsay
Jill Lindsay, M.A., E-RYT 500, YACEP, C-IAYT Originally starting her career as a high school biology teacher, Jill shifted her presence from the classroom to the yoga studio.  After a bout with cancer, Jill realized the yoga she’d been practicing could help with pain management, mood regulation, and overall strength and wellbeing.  Yoga became an anchor in her life, and her passion for yoga blossomed as her drive to teach persisted.  Jill’s focus in her classes…
